  • Games Of Interest - New Year's Weekend

I thought I'd put this up in case anyone wanted to discuss other games this weekend

BU @ InSt Noon - Saturday
    DU @ MSU 2 PM - Saturday
    IlSt @ SIU 2 PM - Sunday
    UE @ UNI - 8 PM - Sunday - ESPNU

Looks like CU/WSU is the only barn-burner. Upsets would be a bit surprising.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Bradley and InSU tied at 21 with 6:42 left in the first half. Taylor Brown must have gotten some early rebounds.

Tied at 35 at the half. Interesting note: InSU has 6 offensive boards in the last 7 minutes of the half. Hmmm. There seems to be a pattern showing up for Mr. Brown.

There were quite a few upsets in the opening games! I wouldn't be suprised by some more. The Valley is SO hard to predict.

Also of note- Iowa, who has played Chicago St, Creighton, UNI, and Drake, just upset #11 Wisconsin. Good trickle-down RPI win for the conference.

Interesting. KUs football team withdrew from the fight, leaving the cheerleaders to fight the basketball team alone. Word is now that the basketball team isn't up to the task and will be scratching any minute.
