A few notes about the Drake game...I watched about an hour of practice today, and then attended the press conference with HCGM, and later talked with Earl Grant. The concern Drake offensively is their fast-paced, shoot-it-from-anywhere attitude. Sounds like they won't run the shot clock down much...They are shooting nearly 30 3's a game, and averaging 77 PPG. Their matchup zone also is a concern, along with traps and other full-court pressure. They've forced 210 turnovers in ten games. Should be another great game!
Also, We will try this again with Gene...the weather got in the way last week, but Gene is still in town. I know many of you wanted to come by and see him. He's scheduled to be at The Shadow for Shocker Soundoff tomorrow between 4p and 6p.
