I’m just asking a technical fan forum question: when a person (using the term loosely) comes on and repeatedly spews hate for the subject team’s sitting coach, widely recognized as the best and most popular coach in program history, is that not sufficient to get the fool banned? I mean, it’s not a first amendment question, this is a private forum. We can make judgements subjectively about what is just a nuisance. Appeal to the moderators. I’d slingshot his a$$ yesterday! Not a slippery slope-this guy is just poison.

Marshall can buy out his contract for $200,000 - relevant contract language follows

9.2 The parties agree that in the event Mr. Marshall terminates this Contract for Employment for any reason, Mr. Marshall will be obligated to pay ICAA, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, the sum of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NOIl.OO DOLLARS ($500,000.00); said amount to decrease to FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NOIl.OO DOLLARS ($400,000.00) as of June 1,2016; said amount to decrease to THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NO/1.00 DOLLARS ($300,000.00) as of June 1,2017; and said amount to decrease to TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NO/l.00 DOLLARS ($200,000.00) as of June 1,2018. Thereafter, the amount ofliquidated damages will remain at TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NOIl.OO DOLLARS ($200,000.00) unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. Said liquidated damages are to be paid within thirty (30) calendar days ofMr. Marshall providing notice of his intention to terminate the Contract for Employment, said amount to be paid with a certified check from Mr. Marshall.

I'm guessing ole 76er and HCGM had a 'close encounter of the wrong kind' at the Charleston Classic in 2018. He mentioned attending the tournament and purchasing tickets from Shocker Mama, so there has to be a connection to cause the 'burr under his saddle'. Maybe he provided coaching tips at the wrong time?

Calipari does not have a buyout clause with UK; he has only to notify UK that he has been approached by another entity regards his terminating his life time (10 years really) contract with UK.

When I post an opinion I clearly identify the post as such otherwise I post facts and then enjoy reading the childish responses, name calling and bullying posts of Shockernetters who as Jack Nicholson stated "Can't handle the truth." JV is replacing Fever as my favorite as he never offers anything other than a silly meme.

Private school so no public access to this information but I doubt if his buy out is greater than Marshall's.

What I do know is that he is a well respected, emerging MBB coach except for the few uniformed Shocker homers posting on Shockernet.

My final post for the rest of the Summer; we are returning to our cabin this afternoon and will not return until October.
