If we finish above CU, we're a top-15 team. CU is a legitimatre top-15 team.

I hope the Shox got a wakeup and saw that Bradley played #19 Michigan even for about 34 minutes of that game.

        WSU - 74
        BU - 63

        1 - CU
        2 - WSU
        3 - UNI
        4 - InSU
        5 - MSU
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I'm petrified thinking about the Bradley game. I don't even want to get into it right now. I agree with Aargh that CU is a legitimate top 15 team. They are really good, and if Dougie stays (and I have no reason to think he won't) they are probably a preseason top 10 team next year. There aren't 5 people on the planet that love WSU and hate CU more than I, but I can't see us better than them over 18 games. I would love to be wrong. The best case as I see it is for both teams to go 17-1....I just don't think we're mentally tough enough to get there.

Again, I hope I am wrong.

Jays fan here- thanks Aargh for the top 15 thing, we'll see.

It depends on how well our depth continues to develop. If we have a weakness its against physical guards like you or St Joseph. We did a good job against SDSU but obviously had a matchup problem against St Joseph.
Biggest difference from a year ago is we answer the bell, last night Northwestern was shooting lights out, but we weathered the storm and answered. #2 thing is bench, Wragge/ Jones/ Artino are getting great minutes and this point guard Freshman Chatman is the fastest guard we've ever had.

Blackout for our tilt against you guys on 12/31 eh?- this should be epic.

Valley wise I see us scruming for #1 &#2 and Northern Iowa #3, perhaps Trees. MSU-Weems is just not playing that well, yet.

Hey lets get at least three in the dance- good for the Valley.

I meant what I put. I'm still not sold on the Trees but I do think the Birds will continue to improve. They have some good talent and were quite young last year.

The BlueJays are indeed tough this Season and improved. It will not be a like getting slammed by a taser stun gun shock if they do win the Valley. However, our Sweet 16 Team was a team of destiny. Were we picked 5th that season? Even so, that team won the Valley and just seemed to win the close-call games more than not. Likewise, the Shocks have 5 Seniors, and nice depth.

3-4 losses might just win the Valley which means we play them one at a time and we shant be losing to Bradley. However, this Shocker team can't think that just showing up will be near enough, because it will be a huge feat to pull this all off. We are due and I am hoping our beloved Shocks will again be a team of consistent success that leads to black and yellow destiny.
