Interesting. The guy is sold on Creighton and UNI but not WSU and Indy State. It looks like he thinks the Valley will get 3 bids: Creighton, UNI and either WSU or Indy State with WSU having the edge right now over the Sycamores.
It is hard to understand all of this love for UNI. Have any of these guys actually seen UNI play? or are they just giving them a lot of credit for having a great rpi?
Replace just one of the flub possessions, late in regulation, with a quality possession, the Shocks beat Temple and the talking heads are pumping up "favored" WSU and the Shocks are top 25 ranked. That's how fine the margin of error can be.
Tuition at USC - $4,000
Dance lessons to hone those shake, shake, shake it skills - $6,000 over 4 years
Boob job - $10,000
Bottle of hydrogen peroxide - $6.50
Aargh, those are all attractive young ladies, but a quick glance suggests that none of them has paid the $10,000 referred to in your post.

Excellent point (or just make one of the many FTs we missed). It is amazing how much difference just one OT loss can make.
Hopefully Temple, UNLV and Alabama will go on to have great seasons.
Good point about the Temple free throw debacle (12-22, with a big 3-8 [!] from 73% shooter David Kyles, who's actually 13-14 in his other games), 1989. Let's hope that in addition to good years from the Owls and Tide we see the Shocks take care of business, including a Bracket Buster win and ideally a long-awaited win in St. Louis (or at least a trip to the finals and a respectable performance there following a strong season).
At least WSU is gradually starting to round into form at the foul line, although it's unlikely that Marshall will be happy for them to finish with their current percentage of .688. But that Temple game is a reminder that when you have a limited margin for error, one lapse can indeed create one of those exasperating "for want of a nail...the battle was lost" seasons.
Thank you. This made my holiday complete. Most of you know how I feel about the difference between cheer leaders and the gymnast/yell leaders. So again thank you for the link.
