Demetric had a pretty good freshman year and the stats comparing their first years are probably very similar. But ya, I'd have to say Toure as well.

Mos Def Toure. You don't have to go that far back for this one.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Toure was a LOT better offensively, but Toure was asked to do so much more, and Cotton is on a much better team. No doubt he starts if he's in Toure's class.

Cotton is the best on ball defender and has the best instincts I've seen since Jason Perez. Toure is a fantastic defender, and better overall defender, at this point, but Cotton is really in a class by himself, on the ball. He's freaky good, and he's not chopped liver with the ball either.

Just to max out the hyperbole, his on-ball defense reminds me a little of Paul Pressey. Long, quick, and as Doc said, terrific instincts.

We've needed someone like him for years- a player who can bottle up the quick MVC-level of guards that have destroyed us forever. Darren Brooks, Anthony James, Ben Walker, etc. Toure (and PJ) aren't as quick as Cotton.

When Tekele was in the French Revolution he was known as "L' Ecouter."

He is freakin awesome. Hard to believe he was such an unknown commodity coming in. He is arguably a starter on a team with great starters. I just can't even imagine our guard situation next year. Fred, Tekele, Ron, Demetric, Armstead and our local stud. I hope that we play a three guard lineup with the talent we have...Fred, Tekele and Ron for example.
