I definitely remember those water fountains. Phys Ed was mandatory when I attended WSU and I had several classes in Levitt.
My fave Phys Ed class was one called "Gym Sports". We played volleyball, badminton, and paddleball. Most students in the class were basketball players. It was something to watch two front lines in volleyball that each had two guys 6'7" or taller who had great ups and loved to spike. This is testing the memory banks but I think two of the basketball players in that class were Ron Soft (Wichita guy) and Kevin Riordan when they played on the Freshman team.
Badminton is a surprisingly interesting game when played indoors. It's hopeless to attempt it outdoors in Kansas. Wind affects that game severely. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

That was amazing!!! I'd never, ever, ever, ever, moderate a thread that had so many shocker photos. Keep posting them if you got them. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting the pictures. It brings back a lot of great memories.
It would be great if they could add more floor seats to Koch Arena at least for big games. I liked how people were right on top of the players and everywhere back then.
