My buddies parents had those seats under the basket on folding chairs, and they would sneak us in and we would sit on the floor, best seat I have ever had for a game. AC got fouled real hard one time and flew out of bounds right at us and ended up needing stiches over his eye. I can still see it now.

I had a public speaking, small groups class out at WSU in the early 80's. I took the class in the summer and we had several cheerleaders in the class. I don't know how many of you remember the early 80's, but the style for young women tended to short shorts and bare mid-riffs. The teacher thought that sitting in a circle was the best way to conduct the class. I ended up opposite from the cheerleaders. To this day I find it hard to believe that I pulled an A out of that class. It's hard to look everyone in the eye with what else was available.

Im sure our current students will have a hard time believing this, but back in this day, as students, we had to buy reserved tickets and camp out to get them. There was actually a tent city out in front of Henry Levitt Arena the day before tickets went on sale. I even went to graduate school for a year just so i would have a valid id so i could buy tickets!
