For 'fine dining', nothing touches Cafe Bel Ami downtown.

Where a lot of Shocker fans go to is Be'nards on Woodlawn just south of 21st (not that far from the arena). Their steak chili is the best I have ever had.

Yes, the Steak Chunk Chili at Barn'rds is very good. Althouhg I usually try to avoid chili as a pregame meal as a courtesy to my fellow Shocker fans.

I read it as $10-20 per plate. Thats a nicer restaurant and most of the suggestions here are in the $5-$10 range. It depends on what he wants and who he is taking.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm looking forward to trying to pick just one. They all sound good.

don't forget spangles with their double gormet supreme or the ultimate double cheeseburger and wash it all down with mudslide.
