Does this mean GM has only won 16 games at WSU when we've scored less than 80 points? Am I the only one that thinks this can't be right?

74-3 is Marshall's record when his teams score over 80, WSU and WU.

They were awesome at halftime but the crowd wasn't paying any attention at all. Great job, band, on the halftime performance!

If Ben can play both the 3 and the 4, I see no reason that Wessel can't.

I love Ragland's drives to the basket. Ben Smith is back on track. I also liked Wessel's hustle, and it was the first time that Anacreon has done something right in a game. Did Murry just have 5 points in the game, he is instrumental in our offense. EO was okay in his play. Tekele Cotton was good, but he needs to get more involved in the offense more. Kyles was Kyles, but doesn't seem quite as 'hot' as he was last season.

I am reserving judgment until I see how well they do against Creighton. Live-Rpi has Northern Iowa at #3 and Creighton at #23, and WSU at #51.

The impressive thing about last night was how well the offense clicked throughout the entire game. They passed the ball well and they played defense hard for the entire game. Marshall went to the bench early and often. The guys off of the bench played well too (actually just as good as the starters) and if someone is hurt, they may have some options to go to. Fun game to watch.

They did pass the ball well, but that was a product of the worst half court zone in the history of division 1 basketball. We still don't move as well (ignoring our sets where we do get good movement) as we can in our motion. See USU for quality motion. Watch how hard they work away from the ball.

Toure' should have had 7 points, but the scorekeeper credited one of his baskets to Ben. I don't know if this will get corrected or not.

I haven't seen Wessel's ups, but I have seen Ben's. Even though I have no clue about Evan's vertical, I doubt he's within 4" of how Ben goes up. I'm just basing that on the fact the Ben is very unusual in his ability to get off the floor.

I did use that term VERY loosely.

I seem to recall Coach Marshall describing Ben on a couple of occasions last year during his show as not being as athletic as you may think. He debated at first having him play the 4 because of this. He further said that he had a nose for the ball, was mentally tough, and was a good rebounder.
