I like a guy like Wessel who's not afraid to shoot the ball. Once he becomes more proficient, that will really help next year.
And with Baker playing next year, we shouldn't drop off any on our outside shooting. Coach Marshall called Baker the best shooter on the team.Comment

Well, it's not the worst thing in the world to be playing these guys and then Newman, exactly where they are in the schedule. Two cupcakes that allow our starters to get good rest, and our reserves to get solid minutes, right before the gauntlet that is the MVC regular season starts up. Personally I kind of think this game and the Newman game will be beneficial to the season.
