Remember the days when your dad just assumed you were wrong?

If my teachers ever called / sent a note home, I got my a$$ beat no matter what I said. My dad just assumed I was in the wrong 100% of the time. Looking back, I think my dad just enjoyed beating me... Nowadays, we have parents assuming their kid is right, and getting mad at teachers! Absolutely blows my mind.

No. But I expected it to be a bit more competitive and have the team show a little more fight, considering their NCAA hopes kinda hinged on it.

I knew the SMU game would be a curse in disguise. Came out chucking but like their percentages say, this time they weren't dropping. And then of course, zero adjustments.

To me, the most concerning thing about last night outside of another horrible shooting game (FTs ... come on) was the fact that a team that turns the ball over on 25% of it's possession only turned it over 7 times .... We did not take advantage of their weakness by trying to force them out of their comfort zone.

That occurred to me as well. I've watched Memphis more than a few times this year and they constantly throw the ball away. Suddenly against the Shox, they hardly have any TO's. It's almost like the guys in the black uniforms weren't quick enough to closely guard the guys in white without getting beat for layups.

Therein lies the problem, and with kids in elementary school and junior high, I get a front row seat to it on pretty much a daily basis at the basketball court, and soccer and softball fields.
