Anyone remember this basketbrawl game?

Like it was yesterday.

Funny you mention this as I brought it up at work today.

As it was with Eddie's team, the Shockers were totally under control and the assistants jumped up to keep the bench right where they were while the Trees (yeah, they sucked in '89 too) left the bench like it was on fire.

Actually, that was probably the loudest that worthless program's gym has been since Larry departed, never to return (hahahahahahaha). The 27 fans in attendance were going crazy as the Trees made their run. Eventually Fogler adjusted and ISU had nothing in left in the tank.

I remember talking to Eddie about that just before he took the Vanderbilt job. He hated to ever admit he was wrong, but he said he wish he'd just run and press them into the ground, looking back. He did have a tendency to over-analyze things from time to time.

From the title I thought this was a thread about KUs football and basketball teams.

I vaguely remember a game, perhaps in the early 60s or late 50s where the Shockers finsihed with four on the floor vs Wyoming, just because of foul trouble. But it might just be that I am very old and have CRS.
