i think i’d pass on the nit this year. i feel bad for jaíme, but the team as a whole doesn’t deserve it.

Now that the NCAA owns the NIT, I don't think you can decline. But I'm not 100% sure.

Can't say this team even deserves the NCAA. If they don't shoot good they give up too easily. The instant SMU started hitting shots when the game 17-16 our effort went in the wrong direction. You don't lose 2-1 like we can without a mental breakdown.

I hope we pull out 24 wins before the tournament and get in, but I have no illusions towards our ability to win against a good team. Our offense and our mental toughness won't permit it.
