I just got in and looked at the box score to see Grant didn't play. One game decision to 'penalize' him for what has transpired? What gives?

Quite possible he missed a practice, unexcused. Just pure speculation on my part.

It was good to see some guys (JB) make plays late. It still feels like we won in spite of ourselves, but you have to start somewhere. Hopefully the Shocks can build on this and ride the Ponies this weekend.

Stevenson should have to bring the team donuts tomorrow for that late foul.

I’m not sure why he wasn’t starting the second half. But for all of Burton’s shortcomings we really needed him at the finish. My best guess is that coach wanted to have someone be the aggressor on offense. I love NF, but he’s not quite there yet.

This team could be good if we had a couple of centers or inside players that could finish around the rim. Wish JE would dunk the ball when he is 1 ft from the basket. He literally missed 4 or 5 layups. Very frustrating to watch him and the see the dumb mistakes this team makes. But its a win. Go Shocks.

Honestly we didn’t need him. Fernandez was an adequate backup tonight.

JE is what he is. Take the good with the bad, he’s the best we’ve got down low right now.
