Finally got to see this video... Trust me out of stater's, it is bad! Not even worthy of posting on here OR youtube. I don't get this at all. We are going to have some joke intro video and then play 3 different songs during warm up's and then play another video of Marshall talking about what basketball means to Kansas?! The teams play during the game says what basketball means to Kansas, props to them and Marshall. As for the Bat Wu....... Whoever is in charge of video operations at Wichita State University needs to be fired. That video board was not free and is not being used properly AT ALL.

My post in the crowd thread applies here as well. There were no pump ups during the game.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

I, for one, DO NOT like the new video. Think it is juvenile and stupid (cartoon characters -- REALLY?). Bring back ironman from last year if you must as it was much, much better. I am not creative and will be the first to admit it so I am no help here except to say "I don't like it." I'm sure there are people in this town that have creative ideas. The only thing I know for sure is (as far as I am concerned) this video is not one of those creative ideas.
I like the message the Marshall video delivers, but it should be used to promote WSU athletics and not used at the start of a game. You can't hear what Marshall is saying as the crowd is trying to get into game mode and is too restless to pay attention (even if you could hear it). Where is the energy, where is the "pump up the crowd"? Nothing to clap to, nothing to get the engery flowing.
Hated the music on the intro last year because there was no beat to clap to and so to "rectify" that they put up a video no one can hear and there is still nothing to clap to.

I was at the game with two of my friends who had never been to a WSU game before and the whole time during the intro, they were looking at me and asking what in the hell was going on. They liked Marshall's speech for the starting line up's, but even it, as stated already is questionable about it's spot in the game. I really think it should be used for a WSU promo add on TV. And yes, there have to be some creative minds out there to help fix this situation. Lol.. It wasn't just me being a picky fan, it was two of my friends who had never been to a game before who were puzzled also, which left me to sit there and simply say "yes, that was terrible."

It would have been good when the crowd was trying to get going in the second half, esp. through some usu timeouts.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

I see where you're coming from, but that argument is kind of a head scratcher.
