New Tradition for Shocker Basketball?

About a week ago, I received this email from Shockers Forever (the Alumni Association's organization for students). I really hope this catches on.

"Shockers Forever would like to start making posters for the student section during the basketball games. It’s a little something to liven up the atmosphere. We invite you to join us in making posters Wednesday, Dec. 7^th from 3 to 5. It is a come and go type event and we will provide the poster board and supplies. We anticipate doing this type of event before every home game so show off our Shocker spirit. If you have any questions please feel to contact me."

I think this is really cool. I was unable to go to the poster making party on the 7th, but I'm hoping quite a few people did and will bring their posters tonight. I definitely look forward to going to these in the future. I have a great idea for a poster at the Missouri St. game. The poster will say: "Welcome to the State of Wichita"

It's a good idea. Hopefully we will see several new and creative signs, especially for the TV games.

What about changing the words? SWOMO does "All hail maroon and white" and I think it's good.

What I think would be cool with this, is you know how they make the boards the crowds hold up to say messages, etc?

We could make the goal look different, put pictures of opposing players (photoshopped) or things like that?

Funny because I'm pretty sure USU got it from Navy.
