WICHITA, Kan. -- All Shocker fans are encouraged to wear black to the 5 p.m. Dec. 31 Wichita State men's basketball game against Creighton at Charles Koch Arena.To assist with the "black out" Preferred Health Systems is sponsoring an autographed black rally towel give-away for the first 5,000 fans to the New Year's Eve tilt.

iirc, the last blackout was in 2009 against the croutons.. we were 0-6 in the valley at that point (17-31 since marshall had taken over).. needless to say that was the changing point, and we're 71-25 since.

When they released the uniform information, they did say that there would be no black jersey. However, I don't think it'd be that hard for them to run a black jersey for the game. But I would expect us to wear the grays.
