I see we are getting more pessimistic.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I will be at the game Sunday, I put myself down as 5+, thinking we will play better than we did the first go-round, but thinking it won't be enough.

        I hope I am erong.

Especially since I am bringing a friend, who is a professional photographer. But if it's close, I should get some great pictures.

This team is not the FVV teams. No one to step up.

When we get mentally tough again, perhaps.

I'm just hoping we dont lay down like we did at CKA.

gregg marshall is a great coach working with a young team. kelvin sampson licks his lips at that scenario.. he looks forward to kick them when their down.

'shockers play their best game of the year and lose by 8/12. what's the line?

                Pessimistic or realistic?

Are you saying that optimistic wasn't realistic at the time?

This team should be pissed about the Houston punking a couple weeks ago. I just wanna see them come out angry. I donā€™t care if they win or not, which they wonā€™t, but act like you give a damn about the game like Houston did to us.

If we give a damn, we lose a close one by 5.

If the soft shellers show up, look for a hurting. Like 20+.
                    Deuces Valley.
                    ... No really, deuces.

Defense will be solid. Houston shoots well and we have lapses on offense with more inexperience mistakes. One to many turnovers late in game leads to more rotten eggs. I hope Iā€™m wrong.
When your not practicing, someone somewhere is and when you meet him...he'll beat you.

I mean... Didn't most people see this one as a loss even when we were playing well?

We will win. If our patten is like lat time. Two game wins. This time and then back to the polls.

Wichita State can make it close...think they will play angry, but youth and a small front line [a 6-6 starting 4] make it an almost impossible uphill battle. It would be one of Marshall's greatest victories if he could pull it off.

Why are we always saying our lack of size is killing us. I remember a 6 foot FVV, a 6ā€™4 RB and a 6ā€™2 Tekele Cotton being a small group of starters too and they won a lot of games. Is it talent or lack thereof versus size?
