I think we are watching a group of fine young men become a team. Will it be like the UNLV game always, no but as they grow as a team they will play as team even when the shots arent falling
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I think wufan is exactly right. For the most part, the defense has been there, as have the offense sets. Not quite sure about the decision making though. A lot of forced shots over the season, players trying to do too much. But to shoot that good, will probably never happen again. Finally the open looks went down.

As for Kung Wu... containing that level over 6 games is a lot different than containing that level over 30 more games or so. I think they'll be fine, but they'll have a few bumps in the road along the way. I wouldn't be surprised to see us have a letdown and lose to either Tulsa or Utah St. this week. We beat both of them, we're in real good shape.

Shooting 60% IS an aberration. If we shoot 44% for the game, we probably win by 5-10 points against the Rebs, and that should be expected. Play a top 25 team at home and shoot moderately well, we win. Play anyone else anywhere and shoot over 35% and we're in the game till the end.

I personally expect us to play very close to as well as we did against Rebels for most of the rest of the year. If we limit turn overs and fouls, we win A LOT of games. Poor shooting and/or getting into foul trouble will spell defeat against some top 50 teams.
        Dead on.

Shooting that high a percentage was what made it a blowout, but the execution of our offensive and defensive game plan was what made it a win.
