At this time I'm the one vote for losing by 5+. Tulsa plays zone. WSU has not shown any ability to be effective against a zone during Marshall's tenure.

With an offense that's content to throw the ball back and forth 5' behind the 3-point arc and an offense that spends a lot of time dribbling, I'm not confident playing against a hot team that plays zone when the game is on their court.

It might take Dennis, Stevenson, Etienne, and Sherfield all hitting from 3 (or at least 3 of that group)
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Don’t always get second chances; let’s hope we learned from the last ranking.

A full week off at this time of year can go either way. Can either be a really good thing and allow the guys to reset and get out of their head, or allow them to get into their head and come out rusty and tight - especially now that there is a number next to their name.

Let's hope it is the former.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

it's an interesting matchup. The scout on beating the Shox is heavy pressure on our guards. Tulsa is a zone team so not sure how they're gonna do this. On the other hand, I think we have the shooters to beat a zone between Erik, Dexter, Tyson and Jamarius. Would this be a decent matchup for big Mit? He has a decent touch and we could use someone in the middle that can make the short jumpers.

Agree, time for the "Big Mit" to fit...

                  But, "if it don't fit..."

We’ll have to hit a good % of threes. Jamie has to make good decisions against the double team. Hit the boards, one of the weaknesses playing zone is boxing out. Crash, crash, crash the boards

Amazing what happens to a fanbase of 10 when they win a few games and are relevant in January for the first time in about a decade.

Yeah, you know they've been waiting awhile to puff out their chest. Bad news for them, they didn't do jack in non-con. They better keep winning if they want a shot at a bid.

Funny to also see them get riled up over our fan base filling up their arena, pure gold.

Damn Fev, don't blame them a bit. They actually have something to be excited about. I have my tickets purchased and would LOVE a great atmosphere in Reynolds. The one thing they are wrong about is our bringing 1,500 fans. Double that number at least. It'll be fun, especially if WE fill up the arena! I still remember our first year in the AAC when we went to Tulsa. So damn many Shocker fans that we easily outnumbered TU fans. Hell, we even gave the Tulsa player the old "One, two, sit down" when he fouled out. Good times!

yes. We can’t have it both ways. We either got a number next to our name or we don’t. If we are going to be what we aspire to be then we must get use to the idea of a number next to our name. To be another teams target or super bowl must be cherished on our part
and and inspire us to bring our a game every time on the court
