Very sad. Defiantly a remember that tomorrow is never a promise for any of us.

He left a big imprint on the world on and off the court. May he Rest In Peace.

Geez, please tell me ABC didn't say all 4 daughters were on board....a tragedy becomes an unimaginable horror.

There were only 5 on board, so unless Kobe was the pilot, that can't be right. Nobody else has reported any of his kids being killed yet, so I hope it's not true.

Edit: But they aren't saying who the others were either.

Kobe owned his own copter with Puig and had a pilot.

Neither his wife nor kids were on board.

What is strange to me is the pictures we have of the chopper are white and blue, but Kobe's is black and silver:

One site now reporting that at least one daughter (Gianna, 13 years of age) was also killed.

Undoubtedly one of the five greatest players to ever play in the NBA, he was that bridge between Jordan and James and largely responsible for keeping the entire sport of basketball motivating for our youth at the time.

                            RIP Mamba
