As of right now I'd say a second team of AM, IC, DG, ES and GS is just as good as last nights starting team.
I welcome your comments, and yes, I know I left off MU and NF.

The best team seems to be different every game. That's a good and bad thing IMO.
I was bummed not to see Gordon against USF. The dude brings more energy than most of our players.
Gordon is an odd case. He is best used to try to inject energy. He has done that really well when called upon. It manifests itself best when we press. And our press can cause problems.
The problem with this team pressing is that our base defense is elite. So to press you have to choose to go to a high-risk high-reward defense that overall is going to be much less stingy, all while taking a hit to your offense.
I liked the idea of seeing Gordon last night as well, but every time I thought of it, I decided the situation of the game probably didn't call for it. For example, for a lot of the game we were up 4-6 points. Do I want to gamble in that situation, or just go with my set defense that the opposition clearly can't beat with any regularity?
We could play 12 really...but to me the key is ES, JB, and DD for leadership and talent reasons always on the court (one of them anyway). Also run more plays for ETN (T East!)

1 outside threat of ES when he's on would be a little anemic on offense. Maybe GS will get there but his percentages are not very good yet.
This team fluctuates so much that it is impossible to tell who our top five are from game to game. Three games ago our best players all season were Erik and JB, but Erik has struggled mightily the last three games and JB the last two. So while that is a good thing that others stepped up last night it makes these discussions really tough to have, outside of Jaime who is clearly our best 5 man.
