  • Grant Sherfield - NOT a Shocker

He did not shock me AT ALL with his abilities, and my expectations for him have been met and on the verge of exceeding them. And I already had very high expectations. Grant's progress and effectiveness are not a shocker to me at all. He got off to what can be considered a freshman start, but what I'm seeing from him is our true PG catalyst.

Nobody on the team can create quite like Grant, partly due to his extremely effective floor movement. Change of direction, speed, and his ability to get to any spot on the floor with a chance to do some damage. Our resident stat stuffer will be the reason we win a bunch of games. Look at him taking control at OSU, for example.

In what way has Grant met your expectations so far? Exceeded them?

Then this thread is already a success, if I was able to pleasantly trick a poster of your experience on Shockernet.

In case you didn't know, today's January 1st, not April 1st.

Of course this thread title hearkens back to the cleverly worded "Fire Marshall" thread. I forgot, was that thread posted on April 1?

I like the way he gets to and finishes at the rim. I like the way he gets to and finishes at the free throw line. He seems to play his best when the game is on the line. On ball defense is really good. I don’t notice his man blowing by him on the reg and yet he gets his hands on a lot of balls tee hee.

I’d like to see him cut down on turnovers and get open/take some more threes.
