Shocks V. Blazers at IBA Gamethread

I got my family to return back to Wichita early from our Thanksgiving vacation in Omaha so that I could go to the game. We normally don't return until Sunday, so we cut our trip 2 days short.
Our seats were in the first row of the upper deck. I had no complaints about the seats. We were a long ways from the court, but the view and sight lines were fine.
Parking was fine (I have been to other events at IBA so I am used to parking and getting in and out of downtown after an event).
My only concern is that there was no electricity in the arena. The atmosphere was just plain blah. I think it is a good idea to go to play one game a year at IBA but I would hope that maybe a better opponent or closer game could help improve the atmosphere.
I didn't go to the Tulsa game last year, because I had to go to Hutch that day and I wasn't sure I would be back in time. As it turned out I got home in plenty of time to have gone but I had heard that the game was sold out so I didn't even try.
But I did watch the Tulsa game on TV and it appeared from TV anyway that the atmosphere was pretty good for that game. So my guess is that while it might never match the atmoshphere at Koch, it should have been much better than it was last night (with a better opponent, closer game).
Hopefully the promoter did well enough that we can still get some better opponents at IBA in the future. I was a little disappointed in the attendance but 11,200 isn't bad for a UAB type opponent with pricey tickets.
