I agree. And you are correct about all 12 of the people complaining - "Your statement went unheard."

OMG @Downtown Shocker Brown: is so right on the money as usual! Cotton is a stud already, as a freshman, in every way shape and form. Complete package: Mentally, physically, skillfully, and awesomacity.

Anyone going to give Stutz some props? 17 points in 17 minutes, now that's efficient!

20 of our 68 points came from our developing bench. This ratio could increase as the days march on. Stutz scored a point a minute with the 17 points in 17 minutes. People speak of Toure' as a first team All Valley type player this Season. Let's pull for both Stutz and Toure' to receive this honor. Did I hear Creighton is ranked around 25th in the Country now? I like our chances to win the Valley, but if not, this has to happen. It is far past our turn to win the Valley Tourney and Dance. It is sooo very hard lately for a Valley team to Dance short of winning the Lou as Mo. State can attest to.

Unfortunately, I will have to agree. When we play in a conference that recent history tells us only one team can play in the dance, we aren't at liberty to let opportunity wins pass us by. Because we let two opportunity wins get away in PR (becoming a trend in OC play), we must win out the remainder of OC to have any reasonable chance at an at-large.

Last night was a step in the right direction, however a team- toughness needs to make a consistent appearance in every game from here on out.

I did notice that he missed CH open on the block a few times. His game has come a long way. The rest of the team seemed to play more under control and worked better together. Good game and go Shox!
Was that your family with your little girl between you and your wife? You guys were on it at every turn.

Totally unexpected but that was us.

I believe HCGM was saying that this team isn't going to "live by the three" and that murray needs to get into the gym for the Shocks to be able to rely on Murray as our go to sharpshooter. Just my take on the comment. UAB is a good win.

The thought that the team is in a no room for mistake situation based on the last 4 seasons of 1 bid MVC activity is just blindly ignoring the relative strength of the conference this season, and ignoring the eye test the Shocks passed last season which like it or not will influence the decision makers at the end of the season.

I wholeheartedly agree that they need to develop a toughness on a regular basis.

                      • Oh and Blazers coach Mike Davis has a potty mouth that would make a crusty sailor blush ... and a sense of humor too.

We were sitting right next to the UAB bench. A few minutes into the second half when one of their guards throws the ball away, a guy by me calls out to him "What would Bobby Knight do?"

Coach Davis looks over and half-smiles and says "you wouldn't like it." Cracked us up.

But he did rip his guard's ear off once before halftime and it wasn't pretty.

My dad, who refinishes gym floors in the summer, was not a fan of the finish job on it. I laughed at him for being so picky.

@forevershockerfan: -- the day we see something like that in Wichita ... I DARE a coach to try it! Muhaha, our fanbase would come unhinged!
