I can't believe Iowa was 2 point favorites in this game. Vegas with an epic FAIL here.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

Apparently in Vegas "MVC teams in the mirror are smaller than they appear."

I'm not going to complain about that line. A little early Christmas on that fail. :)

Good to see some things don't change. Creighton still flops the hell out of things, and McDermott's little smirky smile and laugh is as irritating as ever.

And his game is as good as ever too. Jays by about 20.

64-36 now. CU dropping 3 after 3 on the Hawkeyes. Iowa is bad and CU is really good, especially when they shoot 54% from 3 and 58% total.

UAB lost 62-55 at home to Murray State. Nice 0-2 start for them. Wow.

UNI down 19-15 midway through the first half at home to Northern Colorado.

I guess the good news is we actually may be able to beat them in front of 5,000 at IBA

Tulsa lost to St. Joe's 79-75.

Our OOC teams are off to an AWESOME start, as always!

Of course, we don't have any room to talk..

Alabama beats Purdue 65-56. That was as close as it got during the last 6 or 7 minutes of the game as Purdue scored the last 4 points of the game. Alabama was mostly leading by 11 to 15 points down the stretch.

Mentioned it in another thread, but-

                              Tennessee State 64,
                              South Carolina 63

John Cooper continues to do impressive things on a shoestring budget at the most poorly funded school in his conference. For those that don't know, Tennessee State seriously considered (is considering?) a move to the SWAC to compete against schools more "at their level" from a fiscal standpoint. Cooper has his team well positioned for their first upper division finish in about a decade this season, and they only have 2 seniors. Wichitan Jordan Cyphers transferred there from Utah and is playing this season after sitting out last year.

Darrin Horn appears to be on the exact opposite career trajectory.

Updated original post. Now includes Monday's games (only 2 of interest). Sunday's results: Valley went 2-1....Non-Con Opp's went 3-3 (so far). UNLV up comfortably at half against Morgan St.
