As long as we make it to Sunday, Toure' will most likely set the all time assists record in the Lou!

GS with 2 blocks passes Cooz for 6th place- could very well end up 3rd, needs 10 more.

So 16 points and 5 assists for Toure.

I really hope he gets it.

Greg Marshall as the first WSU headcoach to coach the teams to three 25 win seasons in a row (I believe). Nice accomplishment there

So it looks like Toure will end up tied for first on the assists list.

Final stats are updated. I'll leave it as is until just before the start of next season.

And Joe has the percentage to end up in career FG% but I don't think he had enough attempts. I'll go see what the minimum is in a bit. I almost didn't even check but he shot so well this season...

It's a 500 minimum. Sorry Joe. Hell of a career though.

Looks like if EO can continue is per minute block pace next year...and average at least 20 minutes a game...he'll have a shot at Gene Wiley for the season record.

                      Murry has the assists record!

The same should apply to assists. There is really no comparison to what TM did and what Jabali achieved.

There shouldn't be an argument with that. After all, Armstrong is or should be a serious candidate for having his banner hang in CKA. However, Murry should get his due as being one of the greats in Shocker history. That should be a given also.

TM was a very important cog to his teams' success, but I'm not sure I'd put him in the "greats" category.

It depends what "is" is. How do you define greats? I would put him in the discussion for Top 25-50. He was a versatile player who was very consistent. He was not great at anything but was very good at almost everything. He was a big guard who could score, rebound, pass, and handle the ball. He played out of position at PG and was willing to sacrifice personal recognition so that the team could excel. He was often placed on the opposing teams best defender which probably took away from his offense. In addition to these things that can't be measured statistically, he was as good as almost anyone at running the break and converting at the basket for either an assist or a basket.

We're on the same page, I just reserve the "greats" for the Top 25, given your example.
