Another good night for the SoS so far. That UNI time slot tonight is absolutely brutal though- they deserve a medal if they pull that out on the road.

Off topic, but did anyone watch/hear Coach K's conference earlier today? He named dropped Wichita State and Dave 'The Rave' Stallworth. Interesting.

Speaking of unimpressive teams, Baylor looks about 30 spots too high with their #12 ranking.

            ... No really, deuces.

St. Louis is beating the living hell out of SIU 31-9. I can't imagine the frustration in Carbondale. Missouri State is walloping Arkansas State on the road.

If you thought as I did that MSU was going to be down, you better be able to adjust and rethink that premise. The Bears are solid. Now it's a long season, but ASU isn't the worst program, at all, and in fact were undefeated at home last season. It's 36-21 just before halftime.

Can we trade SIU for SLU?

Billikins bilking the Salukis 35-13 in the 1st half. SIU shooting a blistering 18.6%, including 0-6 from 3. 10 fouls, 8 turnovers, 0 assists.

                And they are at home.

That makes SIU 1-17 from three on the season I think. I'm not sure Lowery makes it the season at this point. This is awful.

If we lose to SIU again this season, I'LL be calling for 3G's job.

Salukis finish the half on 6-6 run.

Is there a point at which Marshall will look at USC as a career-killing job? I know that coaches like Marshall believe they can win anywhere, but surely he can see the common thread. How many coaches have failed there since Fogler had them losing to a #15 seed in the NCAA tournament?

Most good coaches are certain they can win anywhere. That being said, I'll bet that Coach Marshall wasn't thrilled with not being seriously considered last time around, and that is good.

As our recruits get better, so does the tie to WSU

Geese and Clowns tied at 3 at the first media timeout. Drake is 1-8 from the field. ISU is getting outrebounded 6-3. Thank goodness this isn't on TV.

                                MSU up 48-30.

SIU on a 2-6 run to start the 2nd half...43-17 Billikens.
