I doubt 3G will shed a tear either. Coach was very complimentary of Tad before and after the game, and I suspect he's looking forward to seeing Captain Tad putting the wood to his former boss later today, for a variety of reasons.

Gary Williams was under fire for several years. Did he retire because he was asked to or his recruiting was so bad that he knew he would be fired this year. I can't believe maryland was left so bare as it appears it was. I was stationed in the DC area for a while and if the support of maryland bb is anything like it used to be it won't be long before mt can have a strong team.

Here's hoping that all of our ooc opponents win all of their games except for one. :very_drunk:"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

Bump to note that Drake and Indiana State have a couple opportunities to pick up nice wins this afternoon.
DU-Ole Miss on a neutral floor should be a good gauge as to whether the Bulldogs' ISU win was a fluke or not. Ole Miss is picked anywhere from 5th to 7th in the SEC and should be at least a top 75 RPI team this year. A win for Drake would be pretty big.
Indiana State-Ball State is one the Sycs should win, but Ball State looked good against Arizona last week. No doubt it will be ugly and close to the end.

Would be nice if those games went to DU and Tulsa- Ole Miss and Northwestern may stink, but they're BCS.
