I don't want to make this a habit, but I will defend the Athletic Department on this. Isn't WUSHOCK a cartoon character to begin with? might explain why BATWU looks like a cartoon.

Everything at the game last night was much better. They played "Bring Em Out" pretty much on time and showed the team coming out of the locker room. The timing of "Bat Wu" was much better as it got done and the team didn't have to wait too long to take the court. And then the pre-introduction video actually had sound THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! It was amazing!!!! My main complaint from last night was once again, the band!!! Two minutes into the 2nd half and we have gone on a nice little run and the crowd is pumped and Fullerton calls a time out. The crowd is on it's feet and the place is full of energy. It is at this time, you would think the band would play "We're gonna beat the hell out of you...". Uh, WRONG!!! The band plays, "We've Got the Funk" and in a matter of 20 seconds, everyone is sitting and the energy is COMPLETELY out of the arena. It was very unfortunate. The crowd WANTED to stay energized, but the band wouldn't allow it to happen. PLEASE get this corrected before Sunday. The Crowd will be AMPED!!!!

Oh, and I won't even mention that halftime entertainment!!!!

I pretty much agree. There were definite improvements made between the Charleston Southern game and the Fullerton. Somebody must be reading on here. That is nice to see an effort is being made to take us out of this Mickey Mouse disaster. The BatWu video, while still lame and completely out-dated, is better in its newer form.

I also agree 10,000-fold with the band. They are off in that department still. The instructor obviously doesn't follow the flow of the game and songs are chosen at random spots throughout the stoppages. There is no coordination at all depending on what is going on with the game to what they play. That is unfortunate. Hopefully that gets changed.

Also, there is horrible communication going on between the sound operators and the band. Half of the time, there was music blarring over the speakers the same time the band was trying to play something. Wasn't good. The instructor looks like he has a mic which I would think connects to downstairs. Maybe not?

If we could just fix that, some of the stoppage entertainment, the obvious halftime failure and the lameass 3-point and dunk sponsorships, we'd be back to respectability. Still a long ways to climb though to get back to pre-2007 status.
