Shox-er. If you know so much about Sports Marketing, then you know college sports won't even exist in 20 years, when all colleges go on-line. So why worry about trying to recruit younger fans, We need to worry about the current fans before college sports dries up!

The 2 of us should be doing the marketing for the Athletic Dept. If there going to do current movies they should have done Mission Impossible and made WU-shock look like Tom Cruise. That would be better and more current.

There's no way of knowing, but those 2 videos probably cost us 2 high level recruits that night.

Just for clarity sake, the video is very well executed by whoever did it. The graphics are awesome! The concept is okay (not great -- our crowd doesn't identify with Batman apparently) -- but it seems like it should work. But the real issue is that it doesn't "build-up" in a way that leads into a crowd frenzy. Amirite?

I think one reason the build-up fails is because it's too fast-paced initially. The first time that you watch it, you are trying so hard to follow the story-line that by the time it's done you are still half-way through the video in your brain and not in a mental state to go nuts at the end.

Take the money it cost to develop the video, and use it to give away noise makers like the sticks they use in Japan for rally time in baseball. We don't need a video with wushock doing something stupid. Keep the Marshall video, that's all we need.
