Who do we call? That will drive away recruits! Don't think it won't. These are 17 year old boys that want to play in the big time. That was not big time. It sucked to a high degree. Simply unacceptable.

Uhhh....it didn't seem to drive away Teddy. I think he would qualify as a big time recruit.

Seriously fellas. Who do we contact about this? Painful! I cannot believe our first home game after winning the NIT and everyone truly pumped about another good year we are standing in SILENCE after the team comes out of the tunnel.

And ONCE again, the Batman WU video takes so long that the team is standing in the tunnel for at least 45 seconds waiting on it to get over so they can take the floor. And ONCE again, the sound for the first half of the pregame video was so low you couldn't even hear it. I am about to give up and try to not pay attention to this stuff because it makes me furious. This team and these fans deserve better. On top of all of this, the past couple of games, they have played the "Bring em Out" song about 3 minutes before they even come out of the locker room. This song has much more meaning when it starts playing and they show the players busting out of the locker room. Someone, PLEASE HELP THESE PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF GAME OPERATIONS!!!!!!!! As for the game, great job Shox.

At least they fixed BatWu to where you can follow along with it now. As for the length of the clip, it's not too much longer than any of previous years. It could probably be cut down some, but at least it's bearable to watch now.

Wasn't able to see the intro tonight but if it's everything you said happened, then I dunno what else to do.

I guess the Mickey Mouse operations is a proud staple for WSU since they won't do anything about it.

GET RID OF THE BATWU VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS SO CHILDISH! It has absolutely nothing about basketball or WSU.. Make something new that is inspirational and gets you pumped up, and something that shows the NIT run.... I feel like we keep stepping backwards in the video department!

After finally seeing it in person at the UAB game, here's my take on the Batwu video:

It came on and I thought, "Man, I really want to see how bad this thing is." I watched the first few seconds, but then got distracted by something else. Probably my beer. Maybe my wife talking about some issue she was having with her hair dryer. I missed the rest of the video.

Conclusion: even when I wanted to watch the whole thing I just couldn't because it was excruciatingly boring and any thing else seemed imminently more interesting.

Okay, my 13 year old son asked me why everyone was complaining about the BatWu Video? He liked it and said " I liked it and thought it was really cool when they blew-up the UAB logo." I think everyone needs to realize that everything done at the games is intended for different age groups. Some for younger kids, some for college age, some for younger adults, some for older fans.

Serioulsly folks, some of us need to find some real issues to complain about this year. I don't think the BatWu video is one of them that Shocker fans should spend any more time discussing. It is what it is.

And it is atrocious. If it was intended for kids it would be run earlier and not when you're trying to get the energy flowing in the crowd. That video does the opposite.
