How bout they just play some kicking music and bring the team out instead of making it feel like we are at a mickey mouse club event? Show some flipping highlights, kicking loud music....really isn't that hard.
Oh I tweeted Manish Law who did the Black and Yellow Shocker remix last year, that he should do a Mac Miller - Donald Trump remix, and replace Donald Trump with Charles Koch and make it a Shocker remix.
Oh I think the video style as it now stands should go away. Show a short string of highlights from as far back as we have and pump up the music. I'd love to see a string of great moments in Shocker history as a lead-in to bringing the current team out. Acknowledge and honor your past and bring it into today. That would actually fit better with HCGM's video before player introductions.

It was a real good effort on defense, looked stronger than last year. It took a little bit to get offense going, but seems to have more razz-a-matazz than last year. The freshmen did good, although they did make a couple of passing errors, but have a lot of potential.
We have plenty of guns for the 3 pointers this year.

Boom, that'd be epic.
Good luck with that. It was like pulling teeth to get him to do black/yellow.
With the in game sound system and music and awkward silences, i was looking down there were the controls are and it looks to be a new guy down there. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for the ESU game, but it seemed to be like it was worse for him when things went wrong and there was silence. IMO it looks like he does not fully understand how to run all the system. hopefully they can figure it out and fix it.

That's the downside of having sports admin GAs running it instead of professional, or at least well-trained, AV personnel. My last two years at WSU, 1989-1991, I ran sound for almost every home basketball game, men's and women's. I was given very thorough training and preparation by my employer, WSU Audio Productions. For the first few games, one of my supervisors sat with me till he was comfortable I could handle whatever might happen. And that was back before any of the equipment was digital - analog board and ancient amplifiers back in the tunnel service room that were VERY temperamental.
We should have Audio Productions personnel running audio, and hey, wouldn't Shockervision be a great opportunity for our broadcast media students to hone their skills?

yeah that would be a great opportunity for them, the guy on the controls looked like a very older man who probably wasn't a GA, but I could be wrong. They have plenty of time to fix it till the next home. I still have a little hope.

ABANDON HOPE ALL YE WHO ENTER HERE. That might make a good banner to hang in the opponents locker room or as they run down the tunnel to the court or it could be appropriate for those of us that would like to have a higher quality intro and sound control.
Heck, if they want me to run it for them again, I'd be glad to, for very small compensation (like a free trip to the Valley tournament). Then whenever it was messed up, you all could just come on here and bust my marbles. :topsy_turvy:
