Pep Rally Scheduled for October 25

The entire community is invited to Wichita State University for a pep rally to celebrate the upcoming season for the Shocker men's and women's basketball teams. The pep rally is from 7-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at WSU's Braeburn Square and is presented by the Wichita State University Alumni Association.

The evening's events include:

• Appearances by the men's and women's basketball teams, as well as head coaches Gregg Marshall and Keitha Adams
• Performances by the Shocker Spirit Squad and Shocker Sound Machine marching band
• iHeart Media will be emceeing the event and providing music
• T-shirt giveaway
• 20% off total purchase at the Shocker Store (7 pm-event end; Braeburn Square location only) *some exclusions apply and not valid with other discounts or promotions

The event is free, and will be held along the side of the lake located behind Braeburn Square off of 21st Street at the public recreational area. No RSVP required.

I hope you are being sarcastic. This clearly isn't the intro video, it is a video from the photo shoot that will be used to make the intro video.

Yeah. They aren't going to have a hype video that combines the men and the women. But I assume some of these shots will make it into the final products. Some may not.

Shocker Pep Rally is tonight (7-8 p.m.) at Braeburn Square. Men's and Women's team intros, remarks from coaches, pep band and 20% off at the Shocker Store. It was a pretty nice event last year. Players posed for photos with students and kids. Good vibe.

Can't make it sadly. Saw the other video about the making of the intro video....and again, please PLEASE PLEASE find a way to incorporate the past WSU teams, X-Carr-Levingston, or at LEAST past Marshall teams. THAT would be exciting for fans of Shocker basketball. Is there a reason why past Shocker teams can't be included in an intro video that I'm aware of? Any legal-ease that anyone can share?
