Valley POY Jake Odum had 14 and 7. Trees were 29-36 from the line while EIU was 12-12. Printy was 1-8 and 0-5 from 3. ISUB played 9, seemingly spreading the minutes although I am not sure how much of a backup they have at the 1. How Odum gets to the line 12 times is beyond me.

Looks like Creighton got off to a fast start...if I read correctly, 11-0 run to start the game, A&T answered with their own 11-0 run. After that the Jays went on a 20+ to 5 run and were 20 at the half.

Nothing tonight makes me think the Jays aren't going to be really good. 97-65 over an outmatched NCA&T team. CU had 6 players in double figures and 2 more with 9. They are going to shoot a LOT of 3s. More than 50% of their FGA tonight were from 3. If they continue to shoot 40+% from 3, they're going to be tough to beat. Manigat is going to be a stud, if he isn't already.

I hope there are 3 epic games with CU this year...it would be good for basketball.

I think they're looking better than good. Weems just got his first two points in the game. He only played 4 minutes in the first half. Without Wems, MSU went to a 20-point lead. They're threatening to take the lead to 30.

Patterson is looking like a stud. He's nailing 3's and is effective in the 10' range, but he's not doing much down low.
