    Opening Weekend Predictions for the Missouri Valley Conference - My prediction is 8 and 3


    Winners (all home games)

    Wichita State - wins against Charleston Southern
    Bradley – wins against UMKC
    Creighton - wins against North Carolina A&T and wins against Chicago State
    Drake - wins against Non Division I - Upper Iowa
    Evansville – wins against Butler
    Indiana State - wins against Eastern Illinois
    Southern Illinois - wins against Non Division I - OH Dominican


    Losers - (all away games)
    Illinois State – losses to Fresno State
    Missouri State - loses to Nevada
    Northern Iowa – losses to Old Dominion

      I also predict 8-2 with UNI and the Geese losing. Fortunately the Drake loss doesn't count. Whew.

                            Game described as physical, but EIU is 11-11 from the line while the Trees are 22-28. Maybe a little home cooking for the Trees, maybe not.

                            Blue shooting 2, up just 5 at the under 4 timeout.
