I have a very good feeling that Stutz is going to be THE man on the team this year. He's capable of having a GREAT senior season.

Minutes are the only thing stopping Garrett from a breakout season. Can he stay on the floor more than 20? The MVC seems to give Sr.'s the whistle (think of the murder Jamar got away with his senior campaign). I predict we win every game he gets more than 24 and lose most he gets under 20. Garrett demands a double team when he catches on the block.

One of the things that made Miller so good his senior year (and I remember thinking he was pretty good at it already as a freshman) was passing out of the post. If they are going to double, make 'em pay!

Stutz is great and poised to have a great season, but I think how well this team does is largely dependent on how well Murry is able to play on a consistent basis. He is the best all-around player on the team, and his ability to knock down shots and guard the opponent's best player is paramount to both the team's, and Stutz's success.

@Cdizzle: good point. I think Murry will be our biggest producer, but Garrett had to be on the floor for that to happen.

Another Shocker grabs some worthy recognition and publicity. Wouldn't be surprised to see two or three more recognized in various categories. Of course with recognition comes the pressure. It will be one interesting season if the majority of the Shocks just play up to or surpass their expected capabilities.

I'm not afraid to pump a little sunshine here. I expect Stutz to be in the range of 16/8 this year.

I think the officials will give him a little more slack this year. Stutz is primed to be one of the Valley's "stories" this year. I expect him to get nearly the same level of "benefit of the doubt" that players like Nate Funk got.

I think Stutz will demand a double, but will punish teams that double him. Who do they leave unguarded?

I disagree. Toure Murry is going to be the man. He will be the one that will make or break this team.

Let's try to keep this less about GS and more about other great players on WSU.
