"Wichita State 1st team preseason All-MVC guard Toure Murry was injured during a dunk attempt in the Shocker Madness event Thursday night. He is described as having "sore ribs". However, he is also reported to have a partially collapsed lung. The report suggests he may miss "around a week of practices", but an air leak from a lung injury can sometimes be slow to heal, especially in an athlete involved in extreme physical exertion. I wouldn't be surprised to see an injury like this take a little longer."

If Murry should be less than 100% effective in OOC play, this would be unfortunate. If I was the coach (which I am not) and there was a single player (Murry? Wessel?) responsible for this injury, which is probably not the case, that player would be in my dog house for a long time.Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:

WSU is full of "Doctors" who, I'm sure, be willing to "operate" if needed. Dr. Peer Moore-Jansen is experienced; he has strong connections with the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Center.
