2017-2018 was definitely tough ... Being ranked all year and as high as #3 in the country. I don't know if I can handle another tough season like that.

So maybe its a bit early to be judging the MVC. Or maybe ANY of the teams at this point. If every team had a baseline of zero-zero, and you ranked the teams by quality of wins, road-home games, Q1-Q4, blah blah blah, whatever...the point, if you ranked them by metrics, their play, and their success, some of the currently ranked teams might not sniff a top 20 for weeks. I'm just ready to watch some COLLEGE basketball.

These preseason bracketologies are so amusing to me. Loyola lost an exhibition game so they got bounced? lol

And did I miss something with Mississippi? Why did they get the heave-ho going from an 8 to out of the bracket?

              ... No really, deuces.

College basketball’s preseason NCAA tournament bracket would look like this - SB Nation

                  By Chris Dobbertean
                  Nov 5, 2019, 11:16am EST

"But don’t put too much money on November’s No. 1 seeds making it all the way to Atlanta....

Even though 40 of 2019’s preseason field of 68 ended up in the real bracket five months later, only eight of those teams earned a seed that matched their preseason projection. Another nine squads ended up seeded within a line of their November placement. Going back year after year, the numbers tell a similar story about how the season will unfold. Now, perhaps 2020 will finally be the year the four teams at the top of this bracket will buck the odds and make their way to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. But it’s far more likely that at least one of these teams will stumble, with one of the many capable teams ranking behind them rising up as a replacement. Prepare yourself for five months worth of surprises, twists and turns. Enjoy the journey....

                  Teams of Interest:
                  4. Memphis
                  6. Cincinnati
                  7. VCU
                  8. Wichita State
                  8. Oklahoma
                  10. Houston
                  11. Oklahoma State
                  16. Texas Southern

                  Other Teams of Interest:
                  13. New Mexico State
                  13. East Tennessee State

Bart Torvik's T-Ranketology has us at the last team in right now.

                    9 - Memphis
                    10 - Houston
                    10 - Cincinnati
12 (Last Team In) - Wichita State
                    6th Team Out - Connecticut

Using TeamCast, he has us going 20-10 (11-7) to get the 12 seed.

This tool is better than bracketologists right now because this has projections for resume and NET ranks for the end of the season.

                    Likely Scenarios for Cancun:

                    W - SC, W - WVU: 22-9 - 10 Seed
                    W - SC, L - WVU: 21-10 - 1st Team Out
                    L - SC, W - UNI: 21-10 - 3rd Team Out
                    L - SC, L - UNI: 20-11 - 5th Team Out
