    I'm loving the pub.

And you've been digging up some good articles. Thanks for providing some good reading material on a surprisingly slow day at work.

Stutz has good offensive moves, he needs to get his defensive game up some.

I find it funny that 6 of that top 10 are not from BCS teams.

And get more aggressive on the offensive end.

Personally, I think Stutz is going to have a fantastic year. He is who he is and that happens to be a pretty darn good seven footer in my opinion. Greg Dreiling had nothing on Garrett Stutz!

That's actually not a bad comparison. I'm sure Garrett would be okay with a ten year NBA career.

He's got a little more range than Greg, but other than that they're fairly similar.

I'm not convinced that his offense really needs any changing.

Last season Garrett was first on the team in points per 40 minutes and second on the team in field goal percentage at .536 (behind Gabe's .542)

Furthermore, Garrett was first on the team in free throw attempts per 40 minutes (and third in total free throw attempts in spite of very limited minutes).

He was also second in rebounds per forty minutes to Gabe.

The only issue for Garrett is the minutes, because when he is in he has been as effective and efficient as anyone on the team. Not having 3 senior post players in front of him will help him get more minutes, but the main thing is for him to avoid foul trouble. He has been the victim of some ticky calls in his career, but he needs to figure out what the refs want out of him so that he can stay on the court.

Basketball aside the NBA's reputation needs a BUNCH of Garretts right now.

I guess we'll find out how Garrett fares against another top 10 7-footer when UAB comes into town.

FRIDAY NOV. 25TH - BATTLE OF THE BIGS BAAABYYY! Except the big GS will have to battle may not be O'Brien, or their other center, Hamga. Neither have ever shown much and unless they suddenly became much better in the off season, both may be nothing more than little used backups. I'd expect Moore to move from PF to C. Now that's a battle GS can sink his teeth into.
