  • UAB Game - Home or Neutral

    Open question to all:

Does anyone know for sure, if the UAB at Intrust Arena wiil be considered a home game or neutral game for RPI calculation purposes?

    Thanks,

    So Saith, "The WuShock Reaper"

I'm pretty sure it will be counted as neutral

Back when this game was announced, Suellentrop said that for RPI purposes this is a home game.

Ja, for RPI there is a distance (don't know what it is off the top of my head) from the home school where neutral site games are considered home games. So IBA is most definitely a home game and always will be unless they change that distance rule.

Yes, there was a fairly thorough discussion and vetting of this at that time and it was confirmed that for RPI purposes it is a home game. I think that ruling is based on the distance the "neutral" arena is from the regular "home" arena.
