    Go Shockers!!!

I well researched and well-written report. The only comment that had me scratching my head a little was:

    steady ball-handler Demetric Williams

He handles the ball fine. His biggest problem has come trying to do too much and forcing things in some situations.

Not a bad write up. From what I know now I agree with the starting five. A lot of options though - good problem to have.

Their starting line up is PG Joe Ragland, SG Toure’ Murry, SF Ben Smith, PF Carl Hall, C Garrett Stutz. I think the other real possibility is Ragland, Kyles, Murry, Hall and Stutz with Smith the 6th man.

Either Smith or Kyles could start. I'm still expecting Kyles to at the moment.

Based on what I know – I would not, as my first inclination, move Murry to the 3. And I like Smith at the 3 over Murry.

But I agree, your line-up is possible.

I like Kyles but unless he displaces Murry he is not starting.

                P.S. Maybe he should?

Kyles has a tendency to be streaky (even though I love watching him play). TM is one of the best (if not THE best) defender we have. I have very high hopes for Hall. Since we haven't seen some of these guys in games yet, it's a bit hard to know.

Any in game footage of Hall playing anywhere?

I agree as to Murry – and I am very partial to good defense. After watching him last year I just fear he has reached his ceiling. Kyles can offer much more than Murry (he could be a better defender) has showed (and it is not lack of effort on Murry’s part) – I just don’t know what to say but I am glad both man the 1 to 3 on this squad.

Check the recriuting forum. I don't think Hall will be an issue - he can man the 4 and more.

I've always believed the DK has greater potential. If he taps into that or not is the question. DK is a very good defender as well and much more athletic. I hope he has the season I believe he's capable of.

I agree. But Murry and his performace at MSG caused me to take a beat - Murry is a good player, Kyles, so far is hope. We will see but I tend to go with the kid who has "heart".

I agree with the starting lineup of Ragland, Murry, Smith, Hall, and Stutz. After that I think it will be Williams/Mitchell, Kyles, Egharevba/Wessel, Anacreon/White, and Orukpe/Hall. (I think Cotton gets redshirted)

That was about the most in-depth report on the Shockers I have seen.
