    PROJECTED (IMO) Number of teams from each of the conferences for the TV games this season (year 2012):

    Missouri Valley - 5 teams
    Horizon - 3 teams
    Summit League - 3 teams
    Big South - 2 teams
    Big West - 2 teams
    Mid-American - 2 teams
    Southern - 2 teams
    Big Sky - 1 team
    Colonial - 1 team
    Metro Atlantic - 1 team
    Ohio Valley - 1 team
    Southland - 1 team
    WAC - 1 team
    West Coast - 1 team

      There are going to be some real interesting matchups, possibly involving multiple ranked teams. I think it's 50/50 Murray State runs the table until the BB game, and they are a home team. They would likely be ranked (remember they won at ranked Memphis last week).

      27-0 team on the road would be a solid matchup for the #1 or #2 team in the Valley, who would likely also be ranked.

        The bubble could be tiny this season too. Can you imagine Murray State being left out at 34-1 if they lost their conference tourney? A BUNCH of teams are going to be HUGE Racer fans come March.

          2012 - the current top 11 TV games have an RPI average of #47.
          Because most of these teams are from one-bid conferences with many teams with bad rpis in them, the RPI average of #47 will definitely not be that good by selection Monday. Playing their conference foes will be a drag on many of these teams.
