Is the Shockers vs UAB game being promoted yet?

It seems like every morning on my way to work I heard the WVU / KSU game be promoted on the radio by, I think, PowerCats.com or something like that.

Is there any word of any specials for the KSU game? If both games have specials, then I suspect that's the "norm" for this promoter.

I don't know if it's the same promoter putting on the game. The KSU game has similar pricing levels as our game, but a lot fewer tickets at the higher price range. The majority of the tickets at their game are $28 or less. The majority of seats at our game are $47 or more. Probably partially explains why KSU has sold a lot more tickets and also given a lot of Wichita area KSU fans who never make the drive for games are watching their only game since they graduated.

Yeah, that's what I said in the first post... He was asking why he doesn't see it advertised anywhere. It's not advertised on IBA's website that you can type in WSU and get a discount.

There won't be any specials for the KSU game since that game is actually going to sell out. On the other hand, they might practically be giving away tickets to the WSU game since our fanbase is so strongly behind that game and have proven to be the GREATEST FANS ON EARTH.

I was wondering the same thing. I keep hearing promotions for the West Virginia game and yet I have heard absolutely nothing, not one word of promotion for the Wichita State game.

I would actually expect the opposite since our game is first. The games must have diffeent promoters. Otherwise I can't understand why our game wouldn't be getting some promotion right now.

From the lack of promotion, one might assume that our ticket sales must be going very well. The Tulsa game last year got zero promotion and it almost sold out. But from what I read on this board, apparently that is not the case.
