Meh. I had a much more enjoyable time watching the Lady Shocks shut down the Cornhuskers behind outstanding relief pitching by newcomer Erin McDonald for the 2nd consecutive game.

Just quickly went through the play-by-play. So UNI had an 18 point lead in the second half, got outscored 40-19 the last 17 minutes, and lost by 3. Guess that saves us from seeing another last minute debacle in the Dance.

It’s nice seeing a committed basketball school reap the reward. Bradley, of all of the MVC schools, deserves to be Dancing. I’ll be cheering for them if/until they play an AAC school.
