Always nice to see the Shockers mentioned on ESPN's website, even if it is old news to us --

    From ESPN Rumors:

"Ealier this week, when Wichita State was still in contention for Perry Ellis, we wrote about Gregg Marshall's recruiting efforts in case the Shockers did not land an Ellis commitment. Cleanthony Early and Earl Watson will both head to the Missouri Valley Conference in the 2012 and 2013 seasons, respectively. Upon hearing Ellis would become a Jayhawk, Marshall and his staff landed a commitment from another big man.

According to Eric Bossi of Rivals, Derail Green, out of the Houston area, committed to Wichita State. While the 6-foot-7 forward is part of the 2012 class, Bossi believes the best course for Green is to redshirt his initial season.

The infusion of height should help the Shockers in 2012-13; Garrett Stutz will complete his eligibility this season and (if he doesn't redshirt) Green and Early should form a versatile interior with newcomers James Anacreon and Ede Egharevba.

          What happens early in 2012?
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

He's just starting his freshman JUCO classes this year. He'll need 2 years to graduate before he can come to WSU.

Never mind. A little slow on the uptake.
