Etienne, Fernandes & Gordon Sign NLI's

    https://goshockers.com/news/2018/11/...ign-nli-s.aspx

    Tyson Etienne
    6-1 | 175 | G
Englewood, N.J. | Putnam Science Academy (Conn.)

Gregg Marshall: "This is a young man we really liked on the recruiting trail. He played for Coach Terrance 'Munch' Williams and the PSA Cardinal on the summer circuit. He's a combo guard who can play off-the-ball as well as handle it. He's a dead-eye shooter and body-ready to compete for major minutes walking in the door."

    Noah Fernandes
    6-0 | 155 | G
Mattapoisett, Mass. | Woodstock Academy (Conn.)

Gregg Marshall: "Noah Fernandes is a guy that I saw at the Peach Jam in early July. I loved his ability to be the consummate floor general at point guard. He's very cerebral and tough. Noah makes winning plays and is a great communicator. People are drawn to his leadership skills. He can score, as well as run the team, and he guards the basketball with tenacity. He's being well-schooled at Woodstock by Coach Tony Bergeron and comes from a great family."

    DeAntoni Gordon
    6-8 | 175 | F
Mobile, Ala. | John L. Leflore Preparatory Academy

Gregg Marshall: "I'm very pleased to have DeAntoni joining our program. He committed as a junior, which is probably the earliest commit that I can recall, and he honored that commitment all the way through. His high school coach, Jeffrey Pope, and AAU coach, Kirven Lang, both have been a great influence on DeAntoni, and I've enjoyed watching him as a player. He is a super hard-worker, and his body and game are both rapidly developing. I think he will quickly become a crowd-favorite with his athleticism, length and ability to move around the court."

Seems like Gordon committed 10 years ago...

Really, Really like this class! Also like our current assistant coaching crew and hope they stay around for a while as they seem to have a great handle on the kind of players that are successful in this program.

Gordon committed really early and didn’t see a ton of offers. Alabama and Auburn got into the mix after he verballed to WSU.

Fernandes had over 20 offers with the best being Virginia, Temple, Pitt, NC State, Marquette, and DePaul

Etienne has about a dozen offers with the best being Temple, Marquette, Seron Hall, Minnesota, Illinois, and Cinci.
