I'm not all that surprised that we lost this one, but this was a tough way to lose it. We had a ton of missed opportunities.

How are our worst players our oldest guys? AM can’t hit layups, McDuffie and SHJ have somehow regressed since last year, and Torres is completely invisible on the floor.

This team has two extremely selfish seniors who think they are better than their actual skill level is.

If these two don't play tonight, I honestly think we might win this game, despite the putrid free throw numbers.

But Markis looked good on the shot he took and made after rebounding the SMH Jones miss which, of course, was well after the final buzzer.

We just lost to a bad team with one senior. We have no guys. I'm huge on 3G but he brought these guys here. As it stands today...we're on par with the MVC play-in teams.

P.S. We've lost 3 straight and 4 of 5. The last 2 were ass whippings by CUSA scrubs.

The Rice-a-ronis look like the first real chance at a win. Unless Marshall rethinks his Senior Loyalty Clause and we suddenly learn how to shoot free throws.

Of course they will improve. But, they never should have looked as bad with some aspects of the game tonight. Without on the floor leadership, it is going to be hard to get that improvement.

If we have to depend on McDuffie and SHJ then it will be a long season. But to shot fts and rebound the way we did it’s no wonder we lost. McDuffie and SHJs don’t deserve to start but by default they probably will
