I am no Husker fan, but I have Husker football tickets. I go to watch the football, and afterall, there is little else to do here on a Saturday. And yes, football tailgates in Lincoln are a blast!!! I will say this, the level of MILF talent at the tailgates skyrocketed this year! It wasn't an incremental increase, it was exponential! I litterally was drooling all day. I don't know if it was simply the switch to the Big 10, or if the jump in ticket prices and cost to rent a tailgate spot simply weeded out the lowrents and only the more wealthy people with a contingent of hot chicks can afford the $2,000/ year for the parking stall. Either way, it is soooooo much better (don't tell my wife). But after game one in Lincoln, I will say this, there is a lot of twatting going on there and I'm not complaining.

Anyway, my outside of Wichita looking in- opinion is simply this, if Wichita State twats are irresistable, it will improve your gameday experience and the quality of the overall product! It might even translate to better play on the court. But at that point, who cares!
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I will pony up for a steak dinner for the first person who can slap some sense into DOFO.

I know we're talking about a major league challenge, but if you are up to it, Wichita has some first rate steak houses.

I'll be in Wichita for the yearly encounter with Creighton (date TBD).

If you have the 'nads to get the job done, I have the cash to reward your efforts. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

Wichita hasn't been in my sales territory for several years, but if I get the chance to get down there and I can locate DOFO, yeah, I'll take care of it. When I'm done, I might just donkey punch his mom, too!

Oh, and I wouldn't take cash, this would be a freebie! Steak dinner? C'mon, I live in Omaha, great steak dinners in Omaha or Wichita are pretty commonplace. Offer first-rate seafood (not Red Lobster) and I'm all in, baby!

The only possible explantion is that DOFO is either a child or has mental issues. I have not idea who he is, but maybe someone can confirm that one of these is the case with this guy.

I guess I fall on the side of "I don't see what it really hurts". It's not like they are offering any type of improper benefits (although the argument could be made that these sort of things could potentially breed that). Maybe I'm ignorant, but how is this really different than members of the student section bringing a giant sign that looks like a contract imploring Garret Stutz to "Sign Here"?

Don't get me wrong, I have better things to do than play recruiter on facebook, just my .02.

I have wondered this myself. If the NCAA is going to say you can't put up a facebook group (keep in mind, this is not a contact) then recruit-specific signs at sporting events the recruit attends should be strictly off-limits. That's more direct then the facebook group or a twitter mention.

We're talking about the NCAA, guys. The same guys who don't allow a school to supply cream cheese for bagels they give to recruits for breakfast.

This is simple. Don't talk about recruits at anytime in social media aside from team forums, and on team forums don't ask or make pointed statements that could entice a player to choose one or the other. Keep them off your facebook statuses, out of your twats, and keep away from theirs. If PE were to choose WSU over Ku, we don't want Ku to have any ammo for an 80's repeat.

As some have mentioned before, If you put up a sign up at a Height game, it's legal, if you do it on Facebook illegal.

If you have a website like jayhawkslant.com, and I'm sure there are others, you can contact recruits whenever you want because you are a reporter, I think.

If you or I contact recruits them that is a violation.

If I have a website, I can then become a reporter and talk to recruits.

That's my understanding of the NCAA rules as best I can figure them out.

You have to wonder what harm a hacker with a large bank account or major backing could do to the whole reciting process. Could be fandom or just to create havoc. Have bankroll pick 100 or so top recruits. Pick their most likely top recruiters. Make donations or hack boosters files. Create facebook pages, rinse repeat. After 50 years NCAA admits their are out of their league and gives up.
